Pleasant

Hello Everyone:

Sunday evening and time to blog.  Wednesday’s trip to Kaiser with mum turned out to be a pleasant affair. The appointment went quickly, much to my surprise. I brought enormous gifts things to do to keep me occupied while I waited. I didn’t have much use for it. Anyway, we had plenty of time while we waited for the ride back so I got coffee and a pound of delicious grapes. There was a weekly farmers market in the courtyard. We still have the grapes. We ended up at this Chinese restaurant and got takeout for dinner. I forgot how large the portions can be. Obviously meant to be shared. A very pleasant day. Most of the weekend moved along in the same manner. Of course, mum has to ruin the vibe by carrying on about wax in her ear. I went to the drugstore to get an earwax removal kit which supposedly worked. However, mum complained that it didn’t quite work and called sis who came over and rinsed out the medicine. Short end of the story, the drama Queen Mum decides to go to itgent care tomorrow. Fine, whatever. Anyway, I got into an interesting LinkedIn conversation with someone from the Los Angeles City Department of Human Resources about my lack of employment. The person on the other gave me a link to try out. It’s a link to a targeted hiring site. Worth a try. Alright, time to checkout for the night.
