Hello Everyone:
A warm and windy start to the week. From the very first moment, mum’s been getting on my nerves today with all of her usual antics. Mostly I ignore her and make my escape. I managed to post the latest on the blog. The subject is the Bronx. Interesting piece that touched on some previous subjects. I might talk more about it tomorrow. I got an email from the online masters program, reminding me of the application deadline. It’s a little earlier than I thought but I still have time to make it. I keep thinking should I or shouldn’t I fill it out. If anything, I don’t want to do a full time program again. Twice—once for my BA and for my MHP—was enough. I could do it one or two classes at a time. It would take me longer but I would have some sanity. The big thing is what I want to focus on. I think I have the answer to that question. It would be related to historic preservation. The other thing is a residence requirement. That I would have to speak to someone about. Of course, the whole issue would be moot if I didn’t get accepted. However, I’ll never know if I don’t give it a go. I was the same way when I was considering getting my MHP. The program director got me to apply, I got in, and the rest is history. The policy track is the only thing that appeals to me and fits my skills set. The non-profit management and leadership tracks aren’t nearly as interesting to me. Okay, so I’ll take a look at the application. Besides, this real life thing isn’t what’s it’s supposed to be.
