Hello Everyone:
After a busy few days, I had a couple days to chill. Nothing like pre-Jewish holiday preparations to make one stressed out. The best part was the cheesecake I baked. It was delicious, even mum loved it. By Friday evening, I was ready to drop but I couldn’t sleep too long. I got up very early Saturday morning to watch the royal wedding. It was so beautiful. The best part was was the American Episcopal reverend delivering a Sunday church sermon that had the poker faced royal in shock. The gospel choir and cello soloist were brilliant. I loved the bride’s dress. The rest of the weekend was pretty dull. Dull as in I had to make conversation with mum. That never goes well. Part of the problem, this time, was I was tired from getting early to watch the wedding. The other part of the problem is I really didn’t want to have any conversation beyond news, sports, and weather. She tried to engage me in a chat about the Sometime BF but I wasn’t having it. I think she really wants us to have some sort of lasting relationship and I could live with that but he isn’t reliable. One minute he’s here, the next minute he’s not. The Brit BF is serious. However, mum doesn’t seem to realize this fact. She’s so intent on putting me together with him. That may not happen but enough about that. This dreadfully dull weekend is over. Than goodness.
