Worked Out

Hello Everyone:

The trip to Kaiser didn’t go quite according to plan but still worked out okay.  I woke up this morning to find the lights on in the living room and dining area. My first thought is mum’s up early but I didn’t see her in the kitchen or at the table. No worries; so I got ready to go for a run. I came back and I still didn’t see her. I figured she called sis or BIL to take her urgent care so I texted her. That’s when I got the full story: she was feeling really bad and called the paramedics to take her to the Kaiser emergency room. The doctor ended up admitting her for at least overnight. She called and asked me to bring her a few things, which I did and spent some time with her. I blogged and she just chilled. The doctor seems to think it was all the ash and smoke from the fires. I know it’s been irritating my allergies. I think mum appreciated the visit. Sis came for a visit about a half hour after I did. Overall, it wasn’t big of burden as I thought it was going to be. Usually visits to Kaiser involve a lot of hurry and wait. Fortunately, the WiFi was good and I could something done. I can tell mum is feeling better, she was already nagging me to leave before it got dark. I sort of managed to do that. Oh, before I forget, some election news. Another candidate I’be been watching won. Yay.
