Enjoying The Break

Hello Everyone:

I have been enjoying this two-day break from mum. I’m sure she’s enjoying the break as well. Okay the circumstances aren’t ideal but I’ll take it. I’ve already been warned that she might be discharged tomorrow. I guess she has to come home at some point. Oh well. Truth is I’ve enjoyed the chatter-free meals and no complaining about anything. Even the kitchen is easy to clean because I don’t have to scrap food stains off the counters from mum’s cooking efforts. I can tell she’s feeling better, she’s nagging me. Truthfully, I could use the entire week of mum-free quiet. The only thing I can do without is the freezing cold nights. PLB maintenance hasn’t turned on the heat yet so I have to figure out the right amount of open to leave the windows to stay warm and still get some air. It’s a little tricky but I manage. Anyway, the hard part is getting out of my nice warm bed in the morning. Alright, time to wind down. I have a busy day tomorrow.
