Stumbling Into October

Hello Everyone: Well here I am, stumbling into a new month after an exhausting September. I seriously can't believe I survived being left alone at the Customer Service desk because of a dumb ass computer-based schedule maker and coworkers calling out. I was going back and forth berween compassion and homicidal rage. Fortunately, two of my coworkers were sympathic and there is a quart of pumpkin spice ice cream in my freezer. The new month is off to a good start because we have two new people. Both women (ya), one full time permenant and one part time seasonal. The full time person is an older woman with ten years retail experience. The part time person is pretty young woth some retail experience. I happy and grateful to have them both. We're supposed to get more seasonal hires so that'll be nice for a while. We had another permenant person but she disaapeared. Me and another coworker came to the conclusion that she's be gone long enough that it's a safe to assume she's not coming back. Pity, she was good. Can't really spend too much time dwelling on it. The up side for me is I finally got a weekend day off. The big Jewish holidays give me a day off here and there. I can use the off days to rest and regroup. The coming week will be busy but the rest time will make it bearable.
