Gift Of Clarity
Hello Everyone:
I was recently given a lovely gift, the gift of clarity. It arrived on Yom Kippur and was the best present I received all year. The clarity I received allowed me to see what sort of future was on the horizon. It was a beautiful vision, filled with a great deal of happiness. One of the things that was made clear to me was my future didn't include the department store. While I'm grateful for the work and everything I've learned so far, I just can't see myself doing the same job for any long period of time. It's becoming too much effort just to get dressed and go to work. I've been off for the past two days and have an easier schedule this week and most of next week. I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my time off and it wasn't hard for me to imagine working at place where I could have a better work-life balance. The department store was fine because it gave me some time to sort myself out and receive a steady income. Now I know what I want and what I have to do to pursue it. Someone reminded me today that everything will happen when it's supposed to happen. This is true because the department store job arrived when I needed it. Now I need to be patient and do the work to move on, while continuing to improve at work.
