All In Good Time

Hello Everyone: It has not been an eventful week and I'm thrilled. Work was pretty much status quo, which is a good things. My fellow customer service people and I seemed to have formed a bond, something I couldn't have imagined a few months ago. This is truly amazing because I feel like I worked very hard to fit in with everyone and now it seems to be paying off. Yet rude customers have only made my decision to leave when the right opportunity presents itself, an easy one. I wish I could say I'm appalled at some peoples' petulant behavior but after being shouted at and had things thrown at me, I'm not. Speaking strictly for myself, I'm no paragon of good public behavior but I do know better than to shout at someone for doing their job and not throw things at them. Why do I put up with it? It's the job I have right now. Am I looking for better? Of course. Until then, I might as well make the best of a not that great situation. You know, look on the bright side, keep an open mind and all that Pollyana rubbish. I do have to be grateful for the fact that I'm in a better situation than I was a six months to a year ago. I'm sure the universe put at the department store for a reason that will be revealed to me in its own time. Meanwhile, head down and do the work.
